OUR MISSION

At MTNTOP Recovery our mission is to create a space that is relaxing, welcoming, rejuvenating, and rooted in our community. We took a blank canvas and turned it into a place where you can recover after a tough workout, unwind after a long work week, or spend quality time reconnecting with old friends and making new ones.

After hours spent at a desk job, an intense workout routine, tight muscles, and unfortunately, pain and injury - owner and founder, Hunter Dodd, discovered the powerful mental and physical healing benefits of cold immersion therapy coupled with sauna therapy. He knew that he was not alone in his recovery needs and wanted to share these benefits with others. In August 2024, Mountaintop (MTNTOP) was built with community in mind to redefine wellness and recovery.

With no time limits on sessions and no appointments required - we invite you to recover, solo or with friends, and take the time you need to leave feeling physically and mentally refreshed and rejuvenated.

WHY THE NAME MTNTOP?

At MTNTOP (pronounced mountaintop) Recovery, our faith is our foundation. MTNTOP is as much a spiritual endeavor as it is a physical and mental one. From the beginning we have boldly professed our faith in Jesus Christ, knowing that all good things in life come from His mighty hand. The scriptures often use 'Mountains' to teach us and are mentioned over 500 times throughout the Bible. Mountains are a place where Heaven and Earth meet and at times have provided a transformative encounter with God. While we can only offer temporary healing for the body and the mind, we know that there is permanent, lasting healing in Jesus.​ For, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." -ROMANS 10:13

We are looking for someone who:

  • Loves contrast therapy

  • Has excellent communication skills

  • Is friendly and welcoming to customers

  • Is comfortable with utilizing customer management systems

  • Attention to detail regarding cleanliness and safety of all equipment

  • Arrives on time and has effective time management skills

  • Conducts themselves professionally

  • Passionate about building a community and the MTNTOP mission

Responsibilities of a MTNTOP Team Member:

  • Arrive prior to shift to start all equipment

  • Regularly check chemical levels of plunges and adjust chemicals as needed

  • Ensure 100% of customers have signed liability waivers and are checked in prior to each session

  • Walk new customers through the facility

  • Manage members using PushPress and assist customers with purchasing sessions. Confirm successful transactions and apply specials and discounts where applicable

  • Answer questions about the facility, equipment, and benefits

  • Enforce facility policies and rules

  • Ensure proper sanitation and general maintenance utilizing management provided checklists

  • Quickly and effectively communicate customer feedback to the management team

Must be 18 or older

4-5 hour shifts | $15 per hour

Minimum 2 shifts per week | Maximum 4 shifts per week

Benefits: Free unlimited membership. Only to be used outside shift hours

MTNTOP Recovery is located in the heart of the beautiful windward side of Oahu and is easily accessible from the H3. Our facility can be found in Kapa'a Industrial Park across from Tradition Coffee Roasters.
